So thought I would put together a little update on what I was up to this past weekend. I took a little trip up to the wonderful people at Sweet Robot HQ to do a photoshoot for the new products that are soon to grace this online bakery. I have known Gemma and Steve for a while now and am constantly amazed at the hard effort and work ethic these guys have going on so I really recommend you keep checking them out. The products taste so damn good, although I think I have put on a stone from eating so much this weekend.
Other than the photoshoot it also gave me some time whilst travelling to get a new T-Shirt design done for the launch of MYOF Clothing! Also, managed to get my packaging pretty much all laid down, but still a few things to be considered.
Then the big one, if you are in to screen printing at all then you will know what an exposure unit is, if not then these are basically a tool which exposes your stencil on a screen to use to print whatever you like. I finally got down to making my own unit, not fully completed yet still waiting on the glass and making the vacuum seal for the top. It’s a mahoosive 30 x 32 inches and is really shaping up to be a nice bit of kit as you can see below.
I am going to be doing a little DIY blog post on how I made the unit once its all finished, so watch this space if you like many of us are interested in starting up your own screen printing service.
